Reframing Unhelpful Thoughts

Reframing a limiting mindset taps us into powerful momentum and moves us towards living with effortless victory. Learning the art of being flexible and remembering that we always have a choice to reinvent ourselves according to the best-heavenly-version of our identity…that is the key to growth in every area of our lives.

Winston Churchill is quoted as saying, “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” There are practical steps we can take to practice catching those unhelpful thoughts and then changing them. Rehearsing the end from the beginning is one of the best ways to remove unhelpful thoughts and flip the channel on your road to the best you. Capturing these thoughts and flipping them quickly is a skill worth developing. And because your thoughts proceed with your actions and words, your thoughts are vital in expressing love and value to those around you.

If we want to experience heaven on earth, we have to BE the heavenly version of ourselves. We will effortlessly match our environment! If we are ever living anything less than our best-connected-to-heaven version of ourselves, it’s time to reframe our last thought process and remember who we are!

The Old-thought-frame says: I’m stuck in my past choices

The Reframe is: I chose this minute, who I am. My preference is the best version of me that is most suited for this present moment.

Bringing up the past to yourself, or those close to you is likely linked to thoughts of guilt, regret, sadness, or anger. The reframe is, that we all make mistakes, and we all have access to unlimited compassion from our amazing God who loves to give us a fresh start. Let’s give this gift of a fresh start to ourselves, and others!
